I just wanted to put in writing my thanks to you and your team for the quick and efficient job you did re-cladding my house post quake.

I was impressed with the product when you showed me the sample and explained the fire proof and thermal qualities it had. The light weight of a slab of it as opposed to the old summerhill stone that came off my house was another attractive quality. The last thing I needed was something heavy that was likely to come off again should we have to re-live this nightmare.

And after living in plywood for 4 winters and mopping up every time it rained I just could not believe the speed with which the Supercrete product went up. I think I counted 4 days to fully re-clad the house. Your team were great and had everything done and tidied up so fast I was speechless (doesn't happen often).

I would happily recommend Superbuild and the Supercrete product to anyone - so feel free to use this as a reference if you need it!

We have just recently moved into our completed house and would like to extend our thanks to Anthony and the team at Superbuild Christchurch.

We chose to clad our house in the Supercrete Panel Cladding System because of the insulation properties, ease of construction and the assurance and back-up you get from dealing with a company that has been leading the market since the system was introduced in New Zealand.

Superbuild South

We originally built our house as a timber framed dwelling with batts in the walls and plywood cladding direct fixed on the outside. The plywood was covered with a layer of plaster. The house was designed to take advantage of the sun and be heated by passive solar gain and a wood-burning stove. It is situated on the Otago Peninsula on a site that is exposed to cold southerly winds and the temperature indoors can drop dramatically during adverse weather. We eventually decided to re-clad in Supercrete for its warmth and sound insulating properties. We were in the unique position that we re-clad our house one half at a time and were able to compare the difference between to two cladding systems. The improvement was amazing! The warmth and quietness was markedly better in the Supercrete clad rooms compared with those in the part of the house that had not been re-clad. When we finally completed the re-clading of the entire house, the house became a lot warmer and required less heating. We would thoroughly recommend cladding with Supercrete for the warmth and quietness it affords.

Anna and I are thrilled with your Supercrete product and how it looks! The panels are fully installed now so we are excited about the next stage re: Supercoat plastering and painting. Panels look and ‘feel’ great – and the people installing it are even better! Positive, professional, friendly… I am genuinely impressed and wanted to pass on my personal feedback. Even Terry is impressed and he’s a tough old builder who takes a lot to please!
